Bluetooth is missing/not working in my HP 15 notebook

Hello Dorn,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft community.

We understand the inconveniences you experienced.

What is the exact model of your device?

Have you tried installing the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website?

Can you see the driver for bluetooth in device manager?

If yes, what is the status of the device you can see there? Press

Windows key + X

, and select

device manager.

Recognize and expand the

Bluetooth

' and double-click the driver to see the status.

From your description I suspect that the problem is due to the incompatible Bluetooth drivers. Either your PC is not installed with Bluetooth drivers or is running with incompatible Bluetooth drivers. Go to the manufacturer website, check and install the latest Windows 10 Bluetooth drivers for your device. You can find them using your device model number on the manufacturer's website.

and type "

devmgmt.msc

If a driver is available on your PC, select

Browse my computer for driver software,

Then select the appropriate location where the driver is located on your PC to update it.(

D). Then restart the computer to check if the problem is solved. If the problem is not solved, right click on the same driver and select “

Uninstall

' then reboot the system and let the system automatically install the driver at startup. Check if that solves the problem.(
